With a propane and oxygen torch, colored glass rods are wound onto steel rods (mandrels) and into tiny works of art! The beads are formed, decorated and finished in the flame, then placed in a kiln, to anneal and cool slowly for many hours to ensure strength and longevity. Every bead is made one at a time, so no two are ever exactly alike. Each bead is an individual work of art. This short video will give you a glimpse into my world of glass and the torch.
